We have weekly homework and challenge homework. These children have already set the standard high. We have had facts about animals: Marty the monkey, an incredible whale and a comfy home and fact file on rabbits.  More amazing homework came in as some delicious German biscuits. One young lady told us all about butterflies and last week we had some beautifully designed shields. What will you produce next, you still have lots of time over half term!

A Passport to Europe was another successful homework topic. Many children enjoyed making models of wind powered objects. There was also a lot of investigation of famous inventors like Alexander Graham Bell and  Marconi.  I had an absolutely spine tingling story about a strange noise and some  super shape work. The children work very hard on their challenge homework as they also get weekly spellings and maths or language activities. Keep up the good work Tornadoes and Mums and Dads.

Wind powered models.

Thank you for all your efforts working at home with your child on the creative homework. Tornadoes are definitely the most productive class and I am very proud of their work.

Our new topic is The Great Plague and the creative homework challenges are now ready for you. The children have until the end of the second week back after Easter and again I hope they will choose at least 3 to have a go at. Have fun and thanks again, what a wonderful class!
