Well done for taking part in Sports Day and the Marathon Lightning Class!
You really were as fast as Lightning!
On Thursday 23rd June the infants went to Underwater Street Discovery Centre in Liverpool. We had a great time exploring all the different areas. The climbing wall was very popular and the children were very brave to have a go at climbing to the top. We also took part in science experiments and lots of craft activities.
The children were very well behaved and had lots of fun.
Thank you to Mrs Hatch, Mrs Griffin and Mr Neville who volunteered their time to come and help us!
We started our summer term with some very exciting activities in Lightning class. We came into class to find a crime scene! We investigated the evidence and discovered it was the Highway Rat. We were very angry so we wrote him a letter. We explained we have been learning about truthfulness during worship and that he should tell the truth and return what he had stolen.
In science we are learning about living things and their habitats. We went on a bird hunt. Back in class we made bird feeders and bird nests using natural materials. We are hoping that the weather will continue to improve so that we can learn all about living things in our school garden.
Keep checking our website page to keep up to date with what we have been doing.
