This half term we have been practicing our fundamental movement skills - running, hopping, jumping and skipping. We have been learning how to keep our balance and even trying to keep a bean bag on our head while we have been moving!
We have also been doing lots of throwing and catching.
We have been doing Gymnastics and Striking and Fielding this half term.
We have learnt how to make a routine including a starting shape, a travel, a jump, a roll and a balance in Gymnastics.
We have been learning how to throw and hit a ball. We have also been practicing our fielding skills. We have been playing mini games of rounders in teams of 4 and other striking and fielding games.
We have had lots of fun and can't wait for the weather to get warmer so we can spend more time outside.
This half term we have been practicing our catching, throwing, rolling and bouncing skills.
We are getting really good and are also amazing at working in small teams.
