Prayer at St. Paul's

Children need to know that prayer is important and is part of their every day lives. As well as the usual lunchtime and end of the day prayers we pray in lots of different ways at St. Paul's. Prayer is always a very important part of worship. Children often lead prayer in whole school, key stage and class worship times  and the Worship Team collect prayer ideas from each class for 'Request Worship' at the end of every half term. We always allow children time to speak to God individually, during reflection time in worship.  However, the children know that prayer is not just confined to worship times. You will often see prayers being said in classrooms around school at lots of different times of the day, as we never know when we might need to share something with God!
