St. Paul's School Council

Dear School Council,

During this time, there are a lot of people going out every day to help others. As our School Council, I thought it would be a lovely idea if you were to use this time to write a thank you letter or card to show your appreciation.

This could be to doctors, nurses, the police, the fire service, carers or people working in shops to ensure that everybody still has food to eat.

Ill be giving a prize for the best one when we get back to school.

You do not have to be a current member of the student council to take part.

Miss Dufour

We are the St. Paul's School Council. We were elected by the children in our Year Group as someone they trust to represent them at School Council Meetings and share their thoughts, feelings and ideas. We meet regularly with Miss. Yates, who is School Council Co-ordinator, to discuss our plans and activities.

We were invited by Barrett Homes to bury a time capsule at their Highgate Park development in Warton. We spent a lot of time thinking about what we wanted to put inside the capsule for someone to open in 100 years.
We thought about what the world might be like in 100 years and what might be different.

Take a look at the photos to see some of the things we put inside.

Our favourite item was Paul our special St. Paul's bear. We hope they will look after him when the capsule is opened in 2116.
